‘Wood like honey’ is a residential interior project for a single family home, built in a green, recently developed neighborhood of ‘Žaliasis Slėnis’ (‘Green Valley’) in Lithuania. The house is an illustration of a compact dwelling that provides multiple functions whilst the general sense of spaciousness is a part of the experience when entering the house. With a 140-square-meter area, it comfortably accommodates four people and features a living-dining space with an open kitchen and a fireplace, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, and a spacious storage-utility room.

The interior character is modest by the choice of one main material – wood. However, it is also rich in multiple ways, when designed with different qualities that wood can offer.
